Well, its been a long time between waves as they say! Lots on at work, sleepless nights with little kids etc. doesn't make it easy to get out for a few waves.I learnt to snowboard this past winter, which was great. Its no longer flat ... a big southerly storm blew up from the Antartic ... frigid winds an 15'+ of messy dangerous swell. Sigh ... can't win ... flat, then too big and too much at work!BUT, the weekend's here and I am off to the snow. Getting colder here ... but a great day! This morning's swell was bigger that I thought (3-4'+ ... easy overhead + on the face) and I also stuffed up the tide ... it was half way to low ... some really solid peaks on my local beachie.
